Sahabat Data - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) will hold an Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP2024) in June 2024. SEP2024 is a continuation of the 2023 Agricultural Census. SEP2024 will be conducted to record individual agricultural businesses (UTP), legalized agricultural businesses (UPB), and other agricultural businesses (UTL).
SEP2024 was organized with the intention of providing accurate and up-to-date agricultural economic data that can be used as a reference for the government and stakeholders in planning and formulating policies both for internal interests and for national development and knowing the welfare of farmers.
Some of the objectives of SEP2024 include obtaining information on the characteristics of agricultural business units, their income, expenditure, access to finance, insurance, and marketing, and obtaining SDGs indicators related to agriculture.
The series of SEP2024 preparations began in May, including the IT Admin Briefing activity for online SEP2024 preparation for one day (May 22, 2024). The IT Admin Briefing was attended by Tommy Setiawan and other participants from Provincial and Regency / City BPS throughout Indonesia.
This activity was organized by the SIS Directorate of BPS RI. IT support in this activity is one of the keys to the success of SEP2024 data collection, this is because the data collection instrument uses the Fasih mobile application developed by the Central Statistics Agency.
