Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP 2024) Officer Training 2024 UPB-UTL

The 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey is a series of activities of the 2023 Agricultural Census. The main objective of the SEP is to obtain data on the economic aspects of agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators of agricultural business units in Indonesia. In addition, the SEP also provides basic data to monitor one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators. Through SEP 2024, the condition of the agricultural economy in Indonesia can be known and is expected to be carried out periodically in accordance with the recommendations of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The data collection of the Agricultural Economic Survey will begin on June 1 to 30, 2024.

The successful implementation of this survey requires strong support, collaboration, and commitment from all parties, including enumeration officers, supervisors, and teams at the kabupaten/kota BPS to carry out their duties optimally. In addition, the participation of respondents is also very important by providing honest and accurate answers that will produce quality data so that policies set by the government will be in accordance with the needs in agriculture and right on target.
