In commemorating this year's Youth Pledge Day, the theme is ‘Moving Forward Together with Great Indonesia’. This theme is not just a series of words, but a real mission that involves every element of society, including the dedication of statisticians at BPS. BPS, as an institution responsible for data collection and management, has a vital role in realising the spirit and meaning of this commemoration.

Through data collection efforts that summarise the diversity of ethnicities, languages and cultures in Indonesia, including in Jayapura City, BPS not only collects numbers, but also illustrates the cultural wealth that is the strength of this country. These data are a reflection of the spirit of unity in diversity, which is also the essence of the Youth Pledge.

More than just statistics, the data collected by BPS is the foundation for designing inclusive development. In the context of the theme ‘Maju Bersama Indonesia Raya’, BPS not only presents the numbers, but also the stories behind the data. Stories about successes and challenges, about the potential and hopes of all Indonesian youth.
