Papua Consumer Price Index in September 2017

Abstract

In September 2017, both CPI cities in Papua Province recorded the same index change in which the cities of Jayapura and Merauke experienced deflation of 0.64 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 129.04 and 131.51, respectively. Out of 82 IHK cities, 50 cities experienced inflation and 32 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Tual at 1.59 percent and the lowest inflation in Depok and Mamuju by 0.01 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Manado at -1.04 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Tembilahan by 0.01 percent. The city of Jayapura ranks 78th at the national level and the 16th place at the Sulampua level (Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua). While Merauke ranks 77th at the national level and the order to-15 at the level of Sulampua. For more details can be downloaded at the following link:
