Perkembangan IHK/Inflasi Kota Jayapura Juni 2023

 In June 2023 Jayapura City experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 2.87 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 113.64. The highest yoy inflation occurred in Ambon at 6.10 percent and the lowest occurred in Gunung Sitoli at 1.01 percent.

 Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index number of expenditure groups, namely: clothing and footwear group by 1.39 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.19 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.94 percent; health group by 1.25 percent; transportation group by 15.05 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.80 percent; education group by 12.62 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 1.91 percent and personal care and other services group by 4.52 percent.

While the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.44 percent and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.10 percent.

 The month to month (mtm) inflation rate in June 2023 was 1.36 percent and the year to date (ytd) inflation rate in June 2023 was 1.45 percent.
