Indikator Kesejahteraan Rakyat Kota Jayapura 2017

Increasing people's welfare is a target of development undertaken by the government. To achieve an expected level of well-being, it is necessary to carry out a series of sustainable, comprehensive, directed, and integrated programs. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate and plan on a number of indicators that can reflect the development of people's welfare level, in terms of inter-time development, inter-regional diversity, and gender equality. Publication of the People's Welfare Indicator is intended to present the indicators in question. This publication presents the level of development of the welfare of Jayapura residents between time and comparison with Papua, residential areas (urban and rural), as well as gender. The indicators presented in this publication illustrate the various aspects of welfare for which data are available and measurable. The data used comes from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the Ministry of Health. BPS data are sourced from the results of the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas), Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI), and Population Projection of Papua Province City 2010-2020.
