Briefing of Hotel Room Occupancy Survey (VHTS) Officers 2024

The Hotel Room Occupancy Rate Survey (VHTS) is a routine survey conducted every month where the respondents are star hotels and non-star hotels. For star hotels, it is conducted by census, meaning that all hotels are recorded or visited by enumerators. Meanwhile, non-star hotels are surveyed. Non-star hotel sampling is conducted by the Statistical of province.

BPS is always committed to providing hotel data to support tourism data and information for Jayapura City. For this reason, on Thursday (08/03/2024) a briefing of enumeration officers for the 2024 Hotel Room Occupancy Survey (VHTS) using the CAPI method was held at the Jayapura City BPS Office.

The briefing was led by the Head of the Distribution and Services Statistics Team, Richard Imbenay, Instructor Syahyudi and attended by supervisory officers and field enumerators. Also present was the Head of BPS Jayapura City, Jeffry Yohanes De Fretes, who opened the event and gave directions to briefing participants.

With this briefing, it is expected that the enumeration will run smoothly and be completed on time.
