Training of Market Directory Updating Officers (UDP-24)

Data Companion - On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, the Jayapura Municipality BPS Distribution Statistics Team held a 2024 Market Directory Updating Officer Training (UDP-24) at the Jayapura Municipality BPS Hall.

The training was opened by an Intermediate Statistician at BPS Jayapura City and attended by 4 participants, consisting of 3 field data collectors and 1 supervisor. The training material was delivered by National Instructor Sahyudi, SE as a Junior Statistician at BPS Kota Jayapura. The training material covers all concepts, technical explanations and filling procedures, as well as the use of FASIH mobile in the implementation of updating the market directory. The data collection method is done digitally using the CAPI method, namely the FASIH application.

The training participants were permanent partners of BPS Jayapura Municipality as field enumerators and organic BPS employees as field supervisors. UDP-24 was conducted in all districts/cities with the aim of updating the list of public markets throughout Indonesia. The mechanism was to conduct direct visits to public markets based on the Statistical Working Area (Wilkerstat) framework to obtain complete and up-to-date market data.
