Construction Survey to Evaluate the Development of the Construction Sector in Indonesia
Sahabat Data - On Tuesday (19/2), Statistics of Jayapura Municipality participated in the 2024 Construction Survey Briefing. The online briefing was attended by Provincial and Regency / City BPS throughout Indonesia.
The Zoom Meeting was attended by the Director of Industrial Statistics, officials from the Directorate of Industrial Statistics, the Construction Survey Data Processing Integration Team, the Construction Survey Wilkerstat Team, and the Head of the Construction Statistics Survey Implementation Team from Provincial and Regency / City BPS throughout Indonesia. In addition, the heads of the Integrated Statistical Data Processing Team (IPDS) from Provincial and Regency / City BPS throughout Indonesia were also present, along with Field Officers for the 2024 Updating of the Company Directory (UDP), the 2024 Annual Construction Survey (SKTH), and the 2024 Quarterly Construction Survey (SKTR).
The construction survey includes Construction Company Directory Updating (UDP) activities, Quarterly Construction Company Surveys and Annual Construction Company Surveys. In the Construction UDP activity, data updating is carried out to determine the existence and status of Construction Companies in order to update the construction company directory data. The Construction Survey has important benefits to monitor the implementation of development and evaluate the development of the construction sector in Indonesia. Therefore, this briefing is an effort to maintain the quality and accuracy of data from the 2024 Construction Survey.
This training aims to provide an understanding to all field officers related to survey techniques and explain some updates in questionnaires and definition concepts to officers involved in the 2024 Construction Survey activities. Another goal is to encourage the commitment of statisticians in the regions to be actively involved in efforts to build solidarity and cooperation towards achieving comprehensive and reliable construction data for effective policy formulation and development planning.
