Supervision of Passengger Exit Survey (PES) 2024

Data Companion - On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Supervision of Passenger Exit Survey (PES) activities was carried out at the Skow Cross Border Post (PLBN). This post is managed by the National Border Management Agency (BNPP) and is one of the country's border gates with Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The supervision team led by the Head of BPS Kota Jayapura consisted of the Distribution team of BPS Kota Jayapura and the distribution representative of BPS Papua Province.

This PES survey aims to determine the profile of tourists, spending patterns and travel patterns of tourists. Data collection took place in January - December 2024 at the PNG-RI Skouw Cross Border Post with an enumeration method using CAPI (Computer assist personal interview).

Through this supervision, it is hoped that ongoing activities can be ensured that they follow the predetermined SOP (PS).
