Sahabat Data - Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data is one of the indicators measuring the progress of a region. In its calculation, BPS requires data from various sources, both primary and secondary data. In addition, data is also needed from various sectors, including the financial sector, government, accommodation, export and import, and so on. Therefore, BPS is always committed to providing the latest GRDP data according to the conditions in a region.
As a form of preparation, BPS Jayapura City participated in officer training organized by BPS Papua Province. The training of prospective officers was carried out in a hybrid manner, namely online on March 14-15, 2024 through a Zoom meeting and offline on March 19-21, 2024 at the Suni Hotel Abepura. The training was attended by 19 participants as Field Enumerators and 4 participants as Field Inspectors.
The purpose of this training is to strengthen the understanding of the concepts and definitions used in the survey to ensure data consistency and accuracy, improve the ability to collect data efficiently and effectively. Understand the survey SOP thoroughly and be prepared to face obstacles that arise during the survey implementation..
The surveys that will be carried out are the Quarterly Special Survey of Production Balance (SKTNP) consisting of SKTNP Goods and SKTNP Services, and the Integrated Balance Sheet Survey (SINASI) consisting of SKNP and SKSJ Surveys. The results of these surveys will be used as one of the bases for compiling the GDRP component of the Business Field..
The SKTNP - SINASI sample is 339 companies. SINASI is held annually from May to August. Throughout the day, the training was conducted smoothly and according to schedule. The training participants also showed enthusiasm by providing many questions and input for discussion. In general, there was an increase in the understanding of officers before receiving the material and after receiving the material.
