Data Companion - BPS Jayapura Municipality conducted the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP2024), as a continuation of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023). This activity was carried out in all regions of Indonesia during June 2024. SEP2024 aims to obtain detailed data on the economic aspects of agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators of agricultural business units.
Before the SEP2024 officers went to the field to collect data, they first attended training. The training of SEP2024 BPS Jayapura City officers was carried out online and offline on May 27-30, 2024. The Regional Instructor who delivered the learning material was Zichi Diah Pitaloka, S.ST. First Functional Statistician of BPS Kota Jayapura. The SEP2024 sample target is 640 households that will be handled by 18 officers consisting of 13 field data collectors (PPL) and 5 field supervisors (PML) and 2 committees.
The event was opened by the Head of BPS Jayapura Municipality who gave directions to participants to make good use of this training process for active two-way discussions, because the success of this survey begins with this officer training activity. For this reason, all officers are expected to be serious in this training, as well as implementing and complying with the guidelines and schedules that have been determined.
By this training, it is expected that the implementation of the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey can run smoothly and successfully, making a significant contribution in providing important data for agricultural development in Indonesia.
