Supervision of Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP 2024)

Data Companion - On Thursday, June 13, 2024, Supervision of Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) activities were carried out in East Koya and Koya Koso (Muara Tami District) and in Doc IX (North Jayapura District). The supervision team was led directly by the Head of BPS Papua Province along with the Jayapura City BPS Production Team and representatives of the Papua Province BPS Production Team.

The 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey is a series of activities of the 2023 Agricultural Census. The main objective of the SEP is to obtain data on the economic aspects of agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators of agricultural business units in Indonesia. In addition, the SEP also provides basic data to monitor one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators. Through SEP 2024, the condition of the agricultural economy in Indonesia can be known and is expected to be carried out periodically in accordance with the recommendations of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The data collection of the Agricultural Economic Survey will begin on June 1 to 30, 2024 with the enumeration method using CAPI (Computer assisted personal interview).

Through this supervision, it is hoped that ongoing activities can be ensured that they follow the predetermined SOPs.
