SUSENAS MSBP and SERUTI Officer Training September 2024

Dear Data Companion - On Wednesday, 04-06 September 2024, BPS of Jayapura Municipality held training for Susenas September 2024 at Suni Hotel Abepura. The event was opened by an Associate Statistician of BPS of Jayapura Municipality, Lia Pujialarasari. In her speech, she emphasised the importance of Susenas as the main instrument for collecting socio-economic data on households in Indonesia.

According to result from the Susena's MSBP Survey, the government can more accurately understand the social, cultural and educational conditions of the community. Meanwhile, Seruti, which is an integrated survey, is also expected to provide household economic statistics.

As an agency that serves the public in the field of providing basic statistical data, officer training is a necessity that must be carried out before field implementation.

With guidance from the instructor, participants are expected to understand and apply in data collection, so as to produce quality information to support national development.
